ExKalibur is a color scheme for use with Kaleidoscope 1.5 or later <http://www.kaleidoscope.net>.
While it's not a brand new design, but rather a modified version of my original ﾆExcalibur color scheme, it has been extensively reworked before being submitted to the Kaleidoscope schemes contest to use scroll bar tracks and controls that are fully Double Scroll <http://www.amargosa.com> savvy while remaining consistent with the rest of the scheme.
Moreover, like all my other Kaleidoscope color schemes, ExKalibur is also fully Smart Scroll <http://www.kagi.com/Authors/Marc/> savvy.
When I design a scheme, I try to create an ﾒappearanceﾓ that's not only original and visually appealling, but also consistent and, even more importantly, usable. Form and function should be one and the same. ExKalibur is the result of that work.

Requirements:

ﾑ any Mac capable of running Kaleidoscope 1.5 or later (Kaleidoscope 1.7 or later is required for MacOS 8 compatibility).
ﾑ ExKalibur supports all bitdepths in a consistent way, but it is optimized for 256 colors (or more).
Installation:
The ExKalibur Scheme:

Simply drop ExKalibur in the Kaleidoscope Color Schemes folder located inside your Extensions folder (which is to be found in your System Folder). Then open the Kaleidoscope control panel and select ExKalibur in the available schemes list.
The ExKalibur Patterns (Optional):

I have included with ExKalibur two desktop patterns and a Window Monkey <http://www.tigertech.com/> pattern that match ExKalibur's "appearance". I've also included a small application called ExKalibur Pattern Toggler. Using those resources is optional. The installation process is described at length in the ﾒAbout the ExKalibur patternsﾓ document found in the ﾒExKalibur Patterns ﾄﾓ folder.
Distribution:
This software as well as its documentation are ｩ1996-1997 David-Artur Daix . It can be freely distributed as long as it is not modified in any way and thereﾕs no charge for it, but it may not be included in any commercial package without my consent.
